These exciting, entrepreneurial positions are responsible for conceiving, developing, managing & optimizing online direct response campaigns and strategies. We need people who can delight clients consistently, manage Internet-based campaigns so they achieve direct response goals, spot new business opportunities, and deliver programs through to completion, on time and on budget.

The Aber Group Inc. is an award-winning, direct marketing agency that uses the Internet exclusively to achieve our clients’ acquisition goals. Our people, ideas and approaches lead the industry by continually delivering SMARTER INTERNET MARKETING strategies for our clients. We use pay-per-click search engine marketing, online media and a broad range of social, mobile and other online tactics to exceed our blue chip financial, tourism, not-for-profit, entertainment, and government clients’ expectations. Our agency is growing so quickly because our clients are moving their acquisition campaigns to the Internet, and retaining us to manage an increasing number of online marketing assignments. Current open positions:

The ideal candidate is responsible for the management and supervision of online direct response campaigns. We need a person who can confidently manage business opportunities, grow accounts and deliver programs through to completion, on time and on budget.

These exciting, entrepreneurial positions are responsible for conceiving, developing, managing & optimizing online direct response campaigns and strategies. We need people who can delight clients consistently, manage Internet-based campaigns so they achieve direct response goals, spot new business opportunities, and deliver programs through to completion, on time and on budget.

The major differences between the three positions are responsibility levels, decision-making autonomy and number of staff you manage, all based on your online advertising and/or search engine marketing experience and your demonstrated ability to manage projects, clients and staff expertly.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • University or college degree or related work experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience with online media and/or pay-per-click search engine marketing for account strategists, 2-3 years for junior account managers & 4+ years for senior account managers
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with DART for Advertisers and/or web site analytics is an asset
  • Creativity

You’ve run many successful PPC campaigns in a wide range of industries, both in English & French Canada, and internationally. In addition to managing campaigns to strict CPA goals and often beating your clients’ targets, you consistently delight them with your exceptional client service abilities.

The SEM Strategist is responsible for building, managing, optimizing and reporting on pay-per-click marketing campaigns. Hands-on experience with search engine interfaces and/or PPC management tools is essential, and preference will be given to Certified Google Professionals.

The ideal candidate is driven by the increased responsibilities and wide range of demands within an entrepreneurial environment, and can confidently manage business opportunities, grow accounts and deliver programs through to completion, on time and on budget.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience developing and executing successful paid SEM campaigns in Google, Yahoo & Microsoft AdCenter
  • Proven experience in quantitative analysis and reporting
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Solution oriented customer service skills
  • An inquisitive nature and a strong drive to learn
  • Online media buying/planning experience a strong asset

Immediate four month, paid, full-time internship as an Interactive Advertising Agency intern with the potential for permanent full-time employment at the end of the term. In fact, 60% of our full time staff started as interns.

The right person will:

  • have a strong quantitative background, including academic experience working with data to uncover trends, confidence in working with numbers, and proficiency in Excel and other data manipulation tools.
  • thrive in an environment where demands change quickly, have a strong desire to delight our clients consistently, and are thrilled to help out where needed – from helping develop media strategy to moving office furniture when necessary.
  • be a capable, no-nonsense team player who can learn to:
    • Research, build & execute Internet marketing plans
    • Effectively project manage online campaign details to ensure plans launch on time and deliver on budget
    • Deliver accurate campaign progress reports for optimization and client updates
    • Build and monitor paid search campaigns
    • Consistently delight our clients with your excellent client service skills
    • Other administrative duties as required by team members
