Jay Aber, President

Jay has over 10 years of Canadian and international Internet marketing experience. The combination of his seven years at American Express, plus his 10 year experience as President of 24/7 Canada, Canada's leading Internet advertising sales company, gives him a unique perspective and understanding of the role Internet media plays in the marketing mix.

His work with hundreds of advertising and publishing clients over the years consistently produces results that cost effectively achieves business and revenue objectives. His specialty is guiding companies that are new to Internet marketing and online media through incremental tests and improvements that ultimately lead to successful rollout and implementation.

It's why seminars he's taught for the Canadian Marketing Association are full, why publishers ask him to help them figure out how to make more money from their visitors and why direct marketers want his help on how to use the Web to create control packages and achieve their acquisition goals.




Taina Suomela, Vice President

Taina has over 7 years of experience in marketing, promotions and event planning, and has spent the last 3 years enthusiastically focused on Internet marketing. As one of the key players in the 24/7 Canada team until 2006, Taina brings insider knowledge and experience about Internet advertising from an ad network and media seller's perspective. At 24/7, Taina managed website acquisition and revenue growth for the Canadian ad network consisting of 400+ properties.

At The Aber Group, Taina is a meticulous planner and a creative thinker. Leveraging her significant experience in media research and negotiation, she works hard to ensure The Aber Group consistently delivers comprehensive and effective online media recommendations that deliver results.




Sam Leung, Director, Search Engine Marketing

Sam Leung has a wide range of web development, IT consulting and pay-per-click, search engine marketing expertise.  He started his career at Deloitte, in the technical consulting practice.  He later moved to the University of Waterloo where he served as a web programmer and developer.

Sam joined The Aber Group in 2008, and quickly moved through the management ranks to become the Head of Search Engine Marketing and IT.  Sam lends his quantitative expertise to The Aber Group in creating highly optimized and comprehensive search marketing campaigns for clients in the not-for-profit, financial services, information technology, and government sectors.

Sam is a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Search Marketing Council, and is a Google Qualified Search Professional.  Sam also holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science with a Bioinformatics Option, as well as his Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo.




Seanna Snider, Account Manager

Seanna is an enthusiastic Internet media buyer and planner, responsible for flawless research, implementation and tracking for Aber Group client campaigns. She works closely with our clients and media contacts, ensuring all campaigns are seemless and client expectations are exceeded on a daily basis.
